Westshore Diamond Company was founded by Mollie Boutell Suarez G.G., a highly reputable GIA graduate gemologist in the Tampa Bay area.Our insurance replacement expertise includes evaluating, appraising, and replacing jewelry that has been lost, stolen, or damaged for the policyholder of major insurance companies throughout the US.
We are the jewelry authority and liaison between the insurance company and the policyholder throughout the replacement process. We offer free replacement quotes of like kind and quality to insurance companies and agents.
Mollie discovered her calling for gemology in 1997 and pursued a career at the Gemological Institute of America. She completed her degree as a Graduate Gemologist in 2001 then proceeded to grade diamonds for GIA Gem Laboratory in Carlsbad, California. She moved back to her hometown of Tampa, Florida in 2004, and furthered her skills working in many different jewelry environments such as Tiffany and Co., Home Shopping Network and local jewelers. In 2007 she began offering Appraisal Services to local jewelers throughout Tampa. With over 27 years of experience in the jewelry industry, Mollie craved an elevated diamond and jewelry buying concierge experience—one with powerful intent, personal connection, and creative collaboration. In 2011, she created Westshore Diamond Co. specializing in engagement rings, diamonds and custom fine jewelry. Mollie is dedicated to unlocking the mysteries of the jewelry industry while offering a romantic experience built on trust, service and expertise.
After working for esteemed brands such as David Yurman and Montblanc, Natalie furthered her career in the industry by earning certifications from the Gemological Institute of America. As our engagement ring and jewelry specialist, Natalie provides an exquisite hands-on experience, searching each and every stone option before recommending the perfect diamond to fulfill each client’s engagement ring vision and budget. Additionally, she takes great pride in creating beautiful modern jewelry designs, and displays an eagerness to help our clients find the perfect ready-to-wear piece from our in-house collection. She also focuses her creative re-design abilities to assist clients looking to preserve heirloom treasures.
